Deriving from Greek roots meaning "showing forth," the word "epiphany" refers to the "showing forth" of the newborn Christ child to the visiting Magi.

But "epiphany" does not end with the Magi -- if we but open our eyes, we can see God "showing forth" all around us, all the time, in nature, in our communities and our families, and in the incredible gifts of creativity that the ultimate Creator pours into our hearts and minds day after day.

It is in just that spirit that nationally-known composers and clinicians Paul Tate and Deanna Light created Epiphany Publications in the spring of 2002. Paul and Deanna are strong believers in the power of good liturgy and good music to foster and nourish faith -- for it is through the word proclaimed, through bread and wine shared, and through the ministry of the Christian community to and with each other that the love of God is "shown forth" to us in the here and now.

Epiphany Publications has released three recordings and one print collection in the short time it has been in existence, all by Epiphany co-founder Paul Tate. Future plans include new releases from Paul, and Epiphany is actively seeking other artists who share the same commitment to excellence in Christian music to join them on the journey.
